WP3C & NP4DX Puerto Rico

I am pleased to inform you that the Callsigns WP3C & NP4DX are now being catered for by M0OXO QSL Management.

Alfredo WP3C resides in Puerto Rico (IOTA NA-099) and also runs the Atlantic Contest Station NP4DX from the same location.

New QSL Cards are being designed and will be printed in due course. Logs are now available on M0OXO OQRS (links below). Please DO NOT send any bureau cards, they are not wanted and they will not be received.

M0OXO QSL Service

Well, as the end to another year approaches, 2020 seems a year for most of us to forget. DXpeditions, Radio Events and almost all other social activities have not happened this year due to the Pandemic. M0OXO QSL Service has been running throughout the year, maintaining to keep the Ham Radio World supplied with the Cards  still being requested, as more  and more of you stayed at home. I also had the pleasure of welcoming several new stations who have joined our Community.

So, looking towards 2021 we are still not sure how it will pan out but if you are considering using a QSL Manager, then here is the basics of what I can offer you as the DX’er from the Bespoke OQRS.

Whether from the initial concept of your Dxpedition or if you are just a busy station with a big volume of Qsl requests then I can help you with the planning, Social Media, facilitate all logging enquiries, LOTW and, with the final product, the printing and management of the QSL Cards themselves.

You will have use of an advanced OQRS with built in PayPal facility for postage contributions, a real time Logsearch and a Band Activity Module. Express LOTW and a Busted/Missing Callsign facility are integrated into the OQRS module for ease of access. Security and Back-up facilities (local & Cloud based) ensures Security & Integrity preservation.

Also available are detailed Statistics including a list of Dupes, Operator based, Band, Mode, Country and much much more.

As the name suggests, the ‘Bespoke’ OQRS can be tailored to your exact needs so please drop me a line if you are interested or have any questions. As well as being very efficient, using a Qsl Manager gives you the time to enjoy the hobby again without the dark cloud of QSL worries hanging over your head each time you are active.

Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families in 2021.

I am pleased to welcome Arash EP2HAM to the M0OXO QSL Service Community!

Arash is from Gisha, a  neighborhood in the Western side of Tehran in Iran.

He uses the HF Bands and uses an Icom-736 HF Transceiver and his Antenna is a 5 Meter Monopole Vertical (Whip) antenna. He is also a very keen SAT Operator whilst also operating SSB and Digital Modes.

Arash does collect QSL Cards but since there is no Bureau Service and Post Mail is subject to theft in Iran, please send your cards via M0OXO address.

New, full colour QSL Cards are being printed and will be available in the New Year, Logs will be available on M0OXO OQRS in the coming days.

Seasons Greetings from MØOXO

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2021, let’s face it, it can’t be any worse!

Thanks to all of you for your continued support as Qsl Manager and especially to the new stations that became part of our fold during the last Year. Many of you put your faith in me and my service for the first time and I hope you were satisfied and not disappointed with the service you received.

It has been a difficult year for so many people and of course radio wise there have been far fewer Dxpeditions due to the Pandemic and many will have lost out financially on these ventures that didn’t happen. I am pleased to say that I am still managing to maintain and provide the QSL Service as normal however, should anyone wish to make a donation to the service you can do so via the PayPal link on this page and this will be very helpful moving forward.

I hope that 2021 is a more productive year for everyone but until then, enjoy the holiday season, have a great start to 2021 and most of all, keep you and your families safe.

IOTA Annual Submissions

This is a suitable time to remind you that the last date for sending score updates to checkpoints, both online or by QSL cards, for inclusion in the 2021 Honour Roll and Annual Listings is 31 January 2021. If cards are postmarked after that date, and each year checkpoints receive some, they are processed in the normal way but the scores are held over to the following year’s listing. The current disruption to postal services as a result of coronavirus suggests that, where cards are to be sent, they should be sent in good time to enable credit to be given. It is important that participants who have not updated since the 2016 annual listings and wish to remain listed should note the 5 year cut-off rule and make a submission before 31 January 2021. If you have not logged into your record for more than two years, you will need to revalidate your registration through Do not leave it to the last moment as you may run out of time.

Halim Dani YB2TJV – SK

Its with deep sadness we have to report that Halim Dani, YB2TJV (who is also the IARU R3 Disaster Chairman), passed away on 12 December 2020.

Such sad news for someone we (and I personally) are proud to have called a friend. Dani was a great guy, a family man with young children. He will be missed by many 😪

Halim Dani – YB2TJV. Started active on ham radio by joining ORARI in 1982 with callsign YD2DVM then 1984 upgraded to YC2DVM. In 2003 he changed to YC2TJV and in 2007 as an Advanced Licensee to YB2TJV. Preferring DX-ing he enjoyed the activating side of the hobby and worked as a QSL Manager for YE2IPY  (Indonesian Polar Year) and YE2H ( lighthouse IDO-374. He also maintained the APRS system.

Dani was also renowned for producing many of the Logo’s used in out hobby for major Dxpeditions, individual Logo’s and more generally for his design work. He produced most of the Logo’s used by myself over the last 5/6 yesrs including the M0OXO QSL Manager and OQRS Logo’s with which you are all familiar.

RIP, sleep well OM 😪
