Pierre, VE3KTB was active yesterday as VE3KTB/VY0 from the McGill Arctic Research Station on Axel Heiberg Island (IOTA NA-043).

He then returned back to Eureka, Ellesmere Island, Nunavut, Canada

The Club is located in the environs of the Eureka Weather Station which is itself located at 79 degrees 59 minutes N, 85 degrees 56 minutes W on Ellesmere Island (IOTA NA-008).

VY0ERC is currently operating out of the Polar Environment Atmospheric Research Laboratory (PEARL) Ridge Laboratory (RidgeLab) located approximately 11 km as the crow flies from the weather station (http://www.candac.ca).

YB3LZ, YB3MM, YB3TET, YC3ARY, YC3BFX, YC3ISB, YC9AUY, YC9BCD, YC9CCS will be active from Nusa Penida Island, IOTA OC – 022, 30 July – 1 August 2016 as YB3CC/9.

They will operate on HF Bands including activity in RSGB IOTA Contest 30 – 31 July 2016.

During the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 30-31, 2016), a group consisting BD5XM, BD5XX, BG5QIC, BG5TLS, BG5TOX and IK7YTT will be active from Pingtan Island AS-138.

The highlight of my year will soon be upon us. The 2016 RSGB IOTA Contest takes place on the 30th & 31st July and will see a flourish of activity from many Islands Worldwide, some rare some not so rare.

San Felix IOTA SA-013 (2017)

A DXpedition to San Felix Island IOTA SA-013 is now scheduled for April 2017. 

What began as a 3 man effort for earlier this summer has now apparently become a 10 man team, and all operators are experienced DXpeditioners. 

Planned modes CW, SSB, Digital. Planned bands 160m and up, probably also will include the 6m Band.
